Toys & Books Program
We deliver toys, books, and activity kits to our partner children's hospitals to normalize the hospital environment and provide joy for pediatric patients. Toys and books help pass time, making these donations essential to improving the spirits of children fighting difficult battles. Donated items come from toy and book drives held by chapters and volunteers or are directly purchased from sites like Amazon. Additionally, we partner with many public charities, organizations, and companies to host drives and get donations. All toys and books we receive from these collections are then thoroughly checked to ensure that all items we ship to hospitals are new and disinfected. When we receive items that violate hospital guidelines or infection guidelines, we donate the items to other donation centers or nonprofits. All toys and books purchased through donations are handpicked by our directors based on hospital wish lists. Our chapters also contribute to this program by partnering with local hospitals.

How can you help?
Whether you're a high school student, parent, or charity/business owner looking to help, you can host a KCN donation drive and do good for the community! Simply email us to get started. By hosting a donation drive, you're responsible for organizing the drive (location set up, advertising, and collection) and mailing the items. We will help provide graphics and cover any outstanding shipping fees. Collected donations will either be sent to one of our partner hospitals or used in our care packages.
